About the Course

The BBA (Hons) Business and Management degree, offered in partnership with the University of the West of England, UK, is a multidisciplinary programme that leads to a wealth of career options, both in the private and public sectors.

 

The course provides a holistic view of business management while aiming to help students to develop detailed knowledge of the latest business and management practices. The participative and interactive teaching and learning methodologies provide students with the practical competencies necessary for achieving business success, whilst the analytical and enquiring approach in the analysis of business problems, helps students to communicate effectively in a variety of forms.
 

Throughout the course, students will have the choice of a wide selection of modules which have been designed to provide them with a strong foundation in business, whilst developing their ability to work effectively within a group. Moreover, students will develop essential skills - including problem-solving, decision-making, and communication - whilst in a disciplined and structured environment.

 

 

Innovate for Impact”

 

And now students on the BBA will also have the chance to take part in our newly launched “Innovate for Impact” project! The aim of this course map project is to facilitate students in becoming sustainable leaders who can think about how they can make an impact while experiencing the BBA curriculum, and become socially responsible entrepreneurs who are ready to create meaningful change in the world. On successful completion of the BBA course, students will be able to demonstrate:

Your Future  

 

On completion of the programme students may also proceed to a postgraduate course in a related subject area. The British College also has a number of industry links through which students can obtain placement opportunities. Alternately, students will be fully equipped to create their own company or progress to a career in roles such as (but not limited to):

Entry Requirements

 

Foundation Programme

 

To qualify for the foundation programme you must have one of the following:

 

  • 10+2/CBSE or equivalent
  • 60% (GPA 2.4) or above aggregate score
  • A Level (minimum 3.5 credits with 3 full credits)*

 

*Any other qualification must be approved by the Programme Leader before being accepted

Academic Requirement 

  • Pass TBC Foundation Programme

OR,

  • Overall percentage 75% and above

OR,

  • 120 UCAS points

 

English Requirement

 

  • Minimum of 70% in English

OR,

  • 6.0 IELTS or equivalent (with no skill below 5.5)

Foundation Programme

The first Foundation Level 3 year is designed to bring you up to university entrance level, as required by both the MoE in Nepal and our partner university. 

The programme has four core and four specialist module(s) in Business and Management.

UWE 3 Years Bachelor’s Degree Programme

The second-year (level 4) provides a further foundation for the development of the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary for future success. In the third year (Level 5), you will study modules relating to the main functional areas of business, including a range of specialist module options, and you will develop your research and enquiry skills.

The final year (Level 6) will include a major project, modules which require the integration of the knowledge gained in the earlier years of study and a number of advanced business module options which allow you to further develop your specific interests. The final year curriculum also includes a focus on managing change, both in organisational terms and in terms of your own career.

After completing Level 5, students have the opportunity to participate in the IMP, which takes place in London, Dubai, or Singapore. The programme covers international flights, accommodation, and breakfast for eligible students.
The final year curriculum (Level 6) includes a major project, advanced business modules, and a focus on managing change. This year integrates knowledge from earlier years and allows students to further specialize in their interests.
This programme aims to develop a range of skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, research and enquiry, and adaptability to change.
